Amy Winehouse’s father has confirmed that his daughter has spent a night in hospital on a drip as part of her rehabilitation.
Mitch Winehouse said that the drip was needed to rehydrate the singer after she began vomiting during her stay in rehab.
He told BBC 1Xtra that Winehouse was moved to the hospital because the clinic where she is currently staying had not got sufficient facilities.
“Everything is going according to plan and she's perfectly OK," he added.
He also played down reports that Winehouse would appear at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles next month, where she is nominated for six awards.
He said that she was still under “medical supervision” which could prevent her from making the trip.
