Courtney Love Compares Britney Spears To Marilyn Monroe

Courtney Love has spoken publicly about the demise of Britney Spears following the singer’s admittance to a Los Angeles medical facility yesterday (January 31st).

Love said that she knows exactly what the singer, who is reported to be receiving psychiatric treatment, is going through.

“If she doesn't get help something very, very bad is gonna happen," Love told Access Hollywood.

The widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain also compared her and Spears’ tribulations to those of the iconic Marilyn Monroe.

"Marilyn Monroe was strapped to a gurney too, but, other than me and Britney, no one's ever been strapped to a gurney,” she explained.

A spokesperson for the UCLA medical centre in Los Angeles, where that singer is reported to be under 72-hour surveillance, refused to confirm that Spears is at the hospital.
