My Chemical Romance are set to release a three-disc live album this spring titled ‘The Black Parade Is Dead.’

According to MTV, the package will hit the shelves in the States on April 22, and that’s about all the information we get.

There’s no word yet on a European release date or whether it will be a CD/DVD combo package, but it expected to contain footage from their 2007 world tour.

As the title suggests, the album will act as a swansong for their Black Parade theme which they are thought to be killing off after their remaining 2008 dates. As previously reported, a heart monitor titled Black Parade on their website has also flatlined suggesting it is doomed.

The band start a South American tour next month before returning to America for some dates in the spring.
