Queen guitarist Brian May has revealed that the band are working on a sequel to their hit West End musical, ‘We Will Rock You’.
The musical has been a big seller since it opened at the Dominion Theatre in London in May 2002, being sold on to theatres around the world despite cold critical reception.
Writing on his website, May said that the new show will once again see them team up with Ben Elton, who wrote the original script to ‘We Will Rock You’.
“We have been talking about it for a long time, now Ben has supplied us with a fabulous script the train is rolling! Watch out!” he said.
‘We Will Rock You’ was initially intended to close in October 2006 but its run has since been expended to October 2008.
