Reverend & The Makers are the first live act to be confirmed for Lily Allen’s new TV series.
The show, Lily Allen & Friends, which will be recorded next week, will also feature a guest appearance from the comedian David Mitchell.
The programme will work in a similar way to social networking websites, such as Myspace and Facebook.
By signing up as a ‘friend’ of the singers people will be able to suggest guests for the series, as well as form part of the audience via the internet.
Each week a second band will be chosen by Allen’s ‘friends’ to perform live in front of the studio audience.
