Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has revealed that he spent two weeks last summer working on a building site.
The singer admitted that the manual labour made him realise how lucky he was to be in a band.
"It's not that f**king difficult (being in a band),” he told Rolling Stone. "I went and worked on my friend's building site for two weeks over the summer, smashing bricks and stuff.
“That was difficult. But it was nice smashing stuff up," he added.
In contrast, Yorke will be spending this summer on the road touring the UK with Radiohead.
Tickets for the band’s tour are on sale now and can be brought through Gigwise by clicking the Buy Tickets link below.
