Lupe Fiasco has praised the success of his fellow rapper Jay-Z as a businessman.
The Grammy nominated performer said that a number of up and coming rappers aspire to achieve the same business success as Jay-Z.
"We (rappers) want to be Jay-Z, because we can be Jay-Z, and have some of the same lyrics as Jay-Z and even be compared to Jay-Z, but what he trumps everybody with is his business sense.
"Every couple of weeks there's a new announcement of Jay-Z buying something," he added.
As well as being the former president of Def Jam records, Jay-Z also owns the New York Nets basketball team.
In a possible new venture, it’s understood that he’s currently in talks to release his music exclusively via Apple’s music store.
