The Grammys look set to go ahead after writers in Hollywood made an ‘interim’ agreement to work on the awards ceremony.
As previously reported on Gigwise the show could have gone the same way as the Golden Globes because of the Writers Guild Of America strike of online royalties.
However, in a statement the WGA announced: "The Board of Directors of the Writers Guild of America, West has agreed to grant an interim agreement for this year's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
"Professional musicians face many of the same issues that we do concerning fair compensation for the use of their work in new media."
In response to the deal Recording Academy President Neil Portnow said: "Having our talented writers on the team further ensures the highest level of creativity and innovation."
The Grammys take place on February 10 in Los Angeles.
