Pete Doherty’s solo gig at The Fez club in Reading on Wednesday night (January 30) has been cancelled.
The Doherty solo show was meant to be a swansong for the music venue before it closes its doors for the final time. However in a statement issued to Gigwise, management have confirmed that it will not go ahead.
It reads: “Sorry everyone, due to circumstances out of our control, this advertised show will no longer take place at Reading Fez. The Fez apologises for any inconvenience caused, but we would like to say this is not the fault of Pete or his management.”
The one-off date would have been Doherty’s first solo show since his three-night Rhythm Factory residency in London last December.
