Morrissey has been forced to reschedule the remaining dates of his residency at the Camden Roundhouse.
The former Smiths singer cancelled last night and tonight’s gigs after having to leave the stage midway through his fourth number on Friday night.
The dates will now be rescheduled, with a statement expected in the coming week detailing when they will take place.
A statement from Morrissey’s reps reads, “Morrissey's concerts scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night at The Roundhouse have been postponed due to illness.
"The iconic artist lost his voice last night five songs in to the fourth night of a run of six sold out shows at the legendary venue. He has been ordered by doctors to rest for the next four days."
However, his remaining dates in Doncaster, Sunderland and Edinburgh remain unaffected.

- I DO AGREE. BUT I DO NOT THINK HE IS A TOOL FOR CANCELLING THESE GIGS DUE TO ILLNESS. HAVE YOU NEVER MISSED A DAY OFF OF WORK, IF SO THEN YOU ARE ALSO A TOOL IN YOUR BOOKS!

- What about us peeps who went to the Friday gig? Do we get a rescheduled date??

- He can’t help falling ill, it’s not as though he won’t be playing for you again. TOOL!!!!!
ps *praying to god he will be better for Saturday* TOOL!!!!

- he didn’t stop hlf way through his 4th song, and he definitely didn’t manage 5 songs, the magic number which would mean, under most contracts, that he didn’t have to refund or reschedule, he did three songs - they were great, but most of us Morrissey fans are tired middles aged and get out of the house once a year, so if those of us who went on Friday evening are stiffed, we’ll be really unhappy - no ultimatum, no threat, just really upset.

- You wouldn’t be able to work as a footballer with a broken leg so obviously he can’t sing if his throat is f**ked!!!! Leave him be! I’d prefer going to see him when his voice is better! Get Well Soon MOZZA! :o)
