Morrissey Quits Gig After Three Songs

Morrissey was able to perform only three and a half songs at his Camden Roundhouse residency last night after falling ill.

The singer walked off stage halfway through 'I Just Want To See The Boy Happy', having previously joked to the audience he had taken “steroids" and "anti-biotics" to try and beat a mystery illness.

Reviews of his previous three performances at the London venue had mentioned the former Smiths singer was suffering from cold like symptoms.

As if the disappointment of missing out on Mozzer wasn’t enough, the audience were then told by Russell Brand Morrissey would not be reappearing as he, David Walliams and Jonathan Ross took to the stage after a short interval to break the bad news.

Fortunately for the gutted punters the trio did not take the opportunity to cheer them up with a spontaneous comedy routine, reports Digitalspy.

    • Disgusted by reaction of the audience who, of course, were truly disappointed at Morrissey’s early exit, but swiftly changed from adoration and ecstasy to a jeering booing mob. Shouts of ”Bring back Johnny Marr”, slow hand claps and deeply offensive remarks directed towards a man who was cleary unwell and unable to perform. Get well soon Moz!
