Electro-pop duo Yazoo have reunited for the first time in 25 years for a UK tour this summer.
The outfit, consisting of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke, will play five dates in June in what has been dubbed the ‘Reconnected Tour.’
The group had a number of hits in ’82 and ’83, including ‘Don’t Go’ and ‘Only You’, before going their separate ways with Moyet going solo and Clarke forming Erasure alongside Andy Bell.
Vince Clarke said of the dates: "It's been really good going back to these songs after such a long while. Many of them have never been played live.
"I'm looking forward to performing them with Alison for all the fans who've enjoyed our music through the years but never had a chance to see Yazoo in concert."
Yazoo release a 4 disc box set of all their releases in May to precede the UK tour.
Tickets go on general sale from 9am on February 1. Pop fans can get their tickets through Gigwise by calling 0871 230 1098.
They play:
Glasgow Clyde Auditorium – June 4
Manchester Apollo – 7
Wolverhampton Civic Hall – 11
Brighton Centre – 15
London Hammersmith Apollo – 18
