REM continued preparations for the release of their new album ‘Accelerate’ earlier this week by taking over a New York sex shop.
The band were filming the promo for ‘Supernatural Serious’, the first single to be taken from the record which is out this spring.
According to Billboard the shoot in Manhattan’s Lower East Side begun at an Italian restaurant called Inoteca whose owner the band are friends of.
The trio were filmed in a corner of the restaurant while customers carried on eating around them.
Later they moved next door to the Babeland sex toy shop where they were filmed playing around with the instore window display.
By the end of the shoot, which took place on Monday (January 21), a huge crowd had apparently gathered outside the shop.
Should make interesting viewing!
