Rapper Lil Wayne has been arrested on suspicion of drugs possession at a California/Arizona border check point, when the bus he was travelling on was pulled over for a check.
The star – real name Dwayne Michael Carter - is believed to have had cocaine and ecstasy in his possession as well as drugs paraphernalia when he was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday (January 23).
He is currently still in police custody at the Yuma County Jail and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
Police used dogs to sniff out the drugs at shortly before midnight on Tuesday. Another two passengers were arrested for suspected marijuana possession.
According to Reuters, a total of 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy worth more than $22,000 was found on the bus carrying 12 people. A gun was also found onboard when officers inspected it further.
The bus was travelling east from California into Arizona when it was pulled over.
