Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner covered The Strokes alongside Lightspeed Champion at an intimate show in London last night (January 22nd).
Members of Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man, the Semifinalists and The Rascals also joined Lightspeed Champion, aka Dev Hynes, at the launch night for his debut album.
Playing under the 'supergroup' pseudonym, Pun Lovin’ Criminals, various members of the collective played a host of covers, including Interpol’s ‘Slow Hands’ and ‘NYC’.
Turner then joined them to front final song of the night – ‘Reptilia' by the Strokes.
The show at Madame Jojo’s had originally been billed as a Lightspeed Champion performance, so crowds were shocked when Hynes introduced his special guests.
