Having done his fair share of production for better-known artists, Adam Freeland has finally arrived with some credible solo material. Although he hails from Brighton, you won’t have much to compare him with fellow Brightonian Fatboy Slim. Focusing around the club scene, Freeland doesn’t use samples in his ‘Hate’ EP and doesn’t let things get too simple. The beats change constantly; you can’t keep your head in one place, or your body. The second track, ‘Where’s Your God Now?' is also worth talking about in detail - it being the one song off the EP that is likely to provoke an unbeatable reaction if played in a club or house party.

    Released 21/01/08 on Marine Parade.
