I’m Not There, which highlights Bob Dylan through seven different stages of his life, has picked up an Oscar nomination.
Actress Cate Blanchett, who depicts Dylan at one stage during the film, has received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for role.
The actress has already won a Golden Globe for her appearance in the much acclaimed Todd Haynes directed film.
Meanwhile, the Oscars committee overlooked Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood’s film score for the movie There Will Be Blood.
Despite picking up a recent BAFTA nomination, the score didn’t match the criteria set out by the committee.
