US rapper 50 Cent has recalled the first time he met actor Robert De Niro, who he stars alongside in forthcoming movie, Righteous Kill.
The rapper, who was speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, revealed that they initially spent time together at a firing range.
“I met Robert De Niro prior to this film project (Righteous Kill). We were going to work on [another] project and we met months before that,” he told MTV.
“That didn't materialise; it went away, but first I went to his house. We went to the firing range and hung out a few times.”
When asked what the experience was like, he added: “He has an amazing accuracy with it. You'd think, because he's in films and acting, he might not be able to do it.”
Righteous Kill sees De Niro and Al Pacino play police offices who launch an investigation which incorporates nightclub owner Spider, played by 50 Cent.
