Wyclef Jean has hit out at Michael Jackson, claiming the King of Pop owes him thousands of dollars from over a decade ago.
The former Fugee collaborated with Jacko in the studio shortly after the release of the remix album ‘Blood On The Dancefloor’ back in 1997, but says that he hasn’t received the full payment for the work.
He said: “Michael owes me money. After Mike did ‘Blood On The Dancefloor’ I went into the studio with him.
"We did a couple of sessions. When I’m in the studio I’m very specific. I’m very tough in the studio.
“It was a long time ago now, but I still haven’t been paid. Mike knows the money he owes me. I just wish he’d get in touch,” reports The Sun.
Conflicting reports claim that Jackson is riddled with millions of pounds of debt. His rumoured residency at the O2 Arena this summer is thought to be one way the star is attempting to tackle his financial problems.

- Wyclef Jean is a fool. This silly story has been running for weeks and the only person it makes look bad is Wyclef Jean. He needs to shut his greedy trap and hope he can sit in the same room again with the greatest musical genius of our time, Michael Jackson.
- Michael really does need to pay up. Not just Wyclef, but all the people that he’s stiffed over the years.
- Typical MJ, there is a long list of people getting screwed by this guy. Who remembers Ola Ray she was supposed to get paid allot more for the Thriller video. To now, Banks, Princes in the middle east, friends, they all are in line for the back stabbing from Michael Jackson. No he isnt like that public relations created image from Sony-Epic.
- it seems michael is finished.he is an incredible dancer,singer but his lifestyle has gotten out of control and he has mixed his questionable odd behavior into his career. the man owes 300 million dollars and has nothing. his ranch is just about forclosed on. he has no where to go. his music has goten weird.i have grown up with his music, i stopped liking him when he started changing his face and stoped producing #1 hits.Wyclef Jean should have collected 10 years ago, maybe hes broke too!
