Metallica have announced a host of European dates, which include a festival appearance at Rock AM Ring in Germany.
The band’s dates, which begin with a performance at the Slaski Stadium in Poland on May 28th, will see them unveil tracks off their new album live for the first time.
The follow-up to 2003’s ‘St. Anger’ – which has yet to be titled – has been described by the band’s drummer Lars Ulrich as “a lot more dynamic and a lot more varied” than their previous albums.
The band will precede their appearance at Rock AM Ring on June 7th with performances at Pink Pop in Holland on May 30th and Portugal’s Rock In Rio on June 5th.
