Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has had his plea hearing adjourned until next month in court earlier today (January 18).
The troubled singer was at Snaresbrook Crown Court to support her 25-year-old husband who is being held on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and inflicting grievous bodily harm on pub landlord James King.
Upon Fielder-Civil entering the dock (45 minutes after the hearing started), Winehouse blew him a kiss and mouthed “I love you handsome, gorgeous one.”
Along with his fellow accused 39-year-old Michael Brown, from Holloway, North London, Fielder-Civil did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody until the hearing on February 26. The case is expected to go to trial on June 2.
Despite not entering a plea, Fielder-Civil’s lawyer Jeremy Dein told the court that he will deny the two counts against him.
Two other men, 25 year-old Anthony Kelly and 25-year-old Michael Brown both denied the conspiracy charge, while James King also denied his involvement in the conspiracy.
