Janet Jackson has urged her brother Michael to rejoin the Jackson 5 on a possible world tour.
Jackson’s comments come as her brother is reported to be in talks to play a solo residency at the O2 Arena in London later this year.
Janet Jackson, who is currently promoting her own solo album ‘Discipline’, said she would “be the first in line to buy a ticket” if all five members reunited.
“I do know that my brothers want to and I know it's been kind of tough for Mike. He's kind of on the fence, from what I know about it,” she told AFP.
"Maybe he just wants to continue to be a solo artist and if that's what he wants then you have to respect his wishes," she continued. "But what an impact it would have on the world and he has to see that because everyone else does.
"I think he'd have to be blind not to see that," Jackson added.
The band last toured together in 1984, bringing to an end a career which included the hits ‘ABC’ and ‘I Want You Back’.

- MJ is lazy, he isnt going to do a solo concert or a J5 concert. OR even a new album, the guy has been a fraud for 20 years now. The public is allot smarter then they were back in 1983. - Yes MJ talks a good game but he never backs it up. Just like his finances I guess. He will never tour again. The fan base just isn’t there & hasn’t been there for a very long time.

- Julie...YOU...try belting high notes while dancing continuously and precisely. If you can’t do something yourself, don’t criticize others.
