Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore Scores A Porno

Believe it or not, but Sonic Youth singer Thurston Moore has written the music for a ‘extra hardcore’ porno.

Titled ‘Extra Action (Extra Hardcore)’, the adult film has been directed by underground New York film maker Richard Kern and features plenty of frolicking and naked ladies.

Despite the misleading title, the film is more on the artsy side rather than a gung-ho no holds barred affair, and apparently features plenty of scantily clad ladies rolling around and, erm, stuff.

Kern has previously directed the promo videos for the Sonic Youth tracks ‘Scooter and Jinx’ and ‘Death Valley 69’, as well as Marilyn Manson’s ‘Lunchbox.’

For those of you who want to check out Thurston Moore’s score, the DVD comes out on March 18 via MVD.
