Dolly Parton is the latest act to be confirmed for this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Parton will play the event as part of her world tour promoting her new album ‘Backwoods Barbie’.
The Country & Western legend, who turns 62 this Saturday (January 19), will play the BMI Showcase.
The news follows the announcement that REM will also be playing at this year’s conference ahead of the release of their new album.
