Kasabian have promised to open people’s minds with their follow-up to 2006’s ‘Empire’.
Speaking about the as-yet-untitled third album during their slot as guest hosts on BBC Radio 1 last night (January 14th), the band’s guitarist Serge Pizzorno said they were “just cracking on with it now”.
“We're sort of in the process,” he continued. “I don't really know when it’s going to be released, but as soon as we think it's ready it'll be out. It's psychedelic this one, it's going to open your mind.”
Frontman Tom Meighan said that the group were about halfway through the recording process for the album.
Although no tracks have been confirmed, the album is expected to feature their recent limited edition single ‘Fast Fuse’.
“We've had thousands of people saying we want it on the album, we want it on the album, so it's going to go on,” Pizzorno said.
