Moby has spoken about his new album, ‘Last Night’, which is released on March 31st.
Recorded at his home studio in New York, his first studio LP since 2005’s ‘Hotel’ features a number of guest vocalists, including UK MC Aynzli.
“’Last Night’ is basically a love letter to dance music in New York City,” Moby said.
“What I love about the New York approach to dance music is the eclecticism and the open minded-ness on the part of the musicians, the DJs, and the people in the bars and clubs.”
He added: “In making ‘Last Night’ I essentially tried to take a long 8 hour night out in New York City and condense it into a 65 minute long album.”
Meanwhile, the first single to be taken from the album ‘Alice’, will hit stores on March 17th.
