To coincide with February’s annual industry back-patting spectacular at Earls Court, The Brit Awards have announced details of an obligatory 40 track double album.
Released on February 11 through Universal, nine days ahead of the ceremony itself, the compilation is an A-Z of British and international acts who have achieved commercial success over the past year, and possibly an insight into who is being nominated.
Featured are the likes of Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, Just Jack, Amy Winehouse, Fall Out Boy, Biffy Clyro, The View, Take That, Kate Nash, Calvin Harris and Justin Timberlake.
As reported earlier, the nominations for this year’s Brit Awards will be announced at a ceremony at The Roundhouse in Camden this evening. The event will feature performances from Bat For Lashes, Editors and Adele and will be screened on ITV2 at 9pm.
