Bjork has been accused of attacking a New Zealand photographer, and tearing his shirt, shortly after arriving in the country on Sunday (January 13th).
The incident, which is reported to have taken place at Auckland International Airport, came ahead of the Icelandic singer’s scheduled performance at the Big Day Out later this week.
Glenn Jeffrey, a photographer for the New Zealand Herald, says the singer, who was accompanied by a male friend, said nothing during the incident.
"I took a couple of pictures ... and as I turned and walked away she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy (T-shirt) and tore it," he told AP.
"As she did this, she fell over, she fell to the ground," he added. "At no stage did I touch her or speak with her."
It’s understood that Jeffrey has reported the incident to police.
In 1996, Bjork was also involved in an altercation with a journalist following a long-haul flight to Thailand.
