Snoop Dogg is considering drafting in some musical heavyweights to appear on his next album.
The rapper – real name Calvin Broadus – explains that he’s getting a bit tired of other hip-hop artists and wants a rock and pop edge on the work.
The 36-year-old tells MTV: "I want to work with (well known rocker) Madonna, Bono or Mick Jagger. I'm on some rock shit, man! Snoop Dogg, man!
"Rappers don't really move me too much. They can't do what I did. I'm also trying to get down with something that's outta the box and bigger than me."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Dogg is also planning to record a version of a Johnny Cash track for the record.
