Dave Grohl has revealed that he never thought the Foo Fighters would last “more than a few albums”.
Grohl said that now, however, he can’t imagine the band, who released their sixth album ‘Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace’ last year, ending.
"I really always thought there was going to be this clear line that the band would end and I would start doing all the things that I wanted to do, like have children or stay at home and be a father, but I'm starting to realise that they can co-exist," he told AP.
The former Nirvana drummer admitted that becoming a father has had an impact on how the band operates.
“I used to be able to say there's nothing I'd rather do than [play], but finally there's something I'd rather be doing," said Grohl, adding that he can no longer spend more than 14 days away from home at a time.
"I said I can't take any more than that. That's too much; so it's just a whole new way of life for me," he said.

- theyre underrated... They are never on the top charts... for some reason the grammy’s just like em

- utter garbage music keep away from ma ears!

- yeah, the foos stink. they’re too predictable. like, you know they’re gonna have a kick ass hit or two on each record.
nirvana fan - not many artists can be up in the pantheon with kurt. sorry if this disappoints or surprises you. however, there’s something to be said for someone who can rock hard AND be a well-adjusted individual. Me thinks ol’ Dave learned a thing or two being in Nirvana.
