The Maccabees To Re-Release Album With New Songs

The Maccabees are to re-issue their debut album ‘Colour It In’ with six bonus songs later this month.

The album, which was originally released in May last year, will now include the tracks, ‘The Real Thing’, ‘Just Like The Rain’, ‘Colour It In’, ‘Sore Throat’, ‘Diamond Solitaire’ and ‘Bicycles’.

The new edition of ‘Colour It In’ will be available from next Monday (January 14th).

The band are currently enjoying a fresh burst of notoriety thanks their current single ‘Toothpaste Kisses’, which is receiving considerable radio play.

It's understood that they're also in the studio working on the follow-up to their debut LP.

    • Shame their album never got the attention it deserved first time round. But does re-releasing with a couple of new tracks ever actually work for a band?

    • I hate it when bands do this, we loyal drones have got to shell out all over again.
