Just months after the release of her understated opus ‘White Chalk’, PJ Harvey has announced that she will be hitting the studio later this month to start work on a new album.
The record, slated for release later in the year, is a collaborative effort with songwriter and instrumentalist John Parish and will be their first release together since 1996’s fetchingly titled ‘Dance Hall At Louse Point.’
The pair will be joined in the studio by PJ’s long-term collaborator Eric Drew Feldman, as well as Autolux’s Carla Azar and Giovanni Ferraro.
The recording session will precede Harvey’s tour of New Zealand and Australia, plus her huge gig in Rome on March 9.
