The Coral’s guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones has left the band for a second time, according to a statement.
The guitarist originally quit the band during the recording sessions for their third album but later rejoined.
No explanation has been given for his departure, which has been greeted by sadness from the band’s fans.
In a statement, the remaining members of the band said: “The Coral will carry on as a 5-piece and are writing and recording new material.”
The band also confirmed that they would still release the single ‘Put The Sun Back’ as scheduled, on February 11th.
