Alabama 3 are amongst the acts celebrating 30 years of The Ruts at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire later this month.
The night of music and film on January 25 is presented by Henry Rollins and sees a string of artists perform a selection of Ruts tracks alongside their own songs. Also playing are TV Smith, Captain Sensible, Max Splodge and The Glass Heroes.
The undoubted apex of the evening will be the premiere screening of ‘The Gig’ which documents the outfit’s final gig on July 16 of last year.
The show was a benefit for band member Paul Fox who had recently been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. He died on October 21, aged 56.
Tickets for the Shepherd’s Bush Empire show are £10 and are available now.
