Michael Eavis: Glastonbury To Have 'Black American Headliner'

Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has revealed that a “black American headliner” will perform at this year’s festival.

Eavis says he hopes the performer, who he didn’t name, would help the festival appeal to a younger audience.

"I'm putting on a black American headliner, who's absolutely terrific that's going to appeal to those people,” he told BBC Points West.

Speculation is mounting that Eavis’s headliner could be Kanye West or 50 Cent, although Jay-Z and Beyonce have also been suggested.

This year’s festival takes place from June 27th-29th at Worthy Farm in Somerset.
