Radiohead’s guitarist Jonny Greenwood has picked up the prize for Best Composer at the Critics Choice Awards in America.
Greenwood won the award for his soundtrack to the film ‘There Will Be Blood’, which is out in UK cinemas shortly.
Feist and US rapper Snoop Dogg, the awards presenters, accepted the prize on behalf of the guitarist who wasn’t in attendance at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
As previously reported, the film, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis, received 13 BAFTA longlist nominations on Monday (January 7th) and is also tipped for Oscar success.
