Amy Winehouse will not face any charges after being questioned by police in connection with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s arrest.
The acclaimed singer was taken in by police early last month and was released on bail after being questioned on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Fielder-Civil is alleged to have assaulted a barman, James King, earlier last year and subsequently bribed him with a massive £200,000 to drop his charges. He’s now being held in London’s Pentonville Prison awaiting trial on his charges.
Police have reportedly found no evidence that 24-year-old Winehouse attempted to finance husband in the case and will face no more action.
