Radiohead’s latest album ‘In Rainbows’ has topped the UK Album Chart after going on general sale for the first time.
The album, which was initially available last October as a download - where fans could choose how much they paid for a copy – was the only new entry in the entire top-40.
Leona Lewis, last weeks number one, fell to number three with ‘Spirit’, while Take That’s ‘Beautiful World’ climbed to number two.
Meanwhile, in the Singles Chart, X-Factor winner Leon Jackson held on to the top spot with his Christmas release ‘When You Believe’.
Elsewhere, Britney Spears’ new single ‘Piece Of Me’ entered at nineteen, with The White Stripes’ ‘Conquest’ debuting at number thirty.
