Britney Spears Leaves Hospital

Troubled singer Britney Spears has left hospital following her meltdown on Thursday.

Britney had been in Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles since she was taken away by authorities for assessment after refusing to return her two children following a custody visit.

American TV quack Dr Phil accompanied Britney and her father Jamie from the hospital, and in his opinion the singer is still one troubled cookie.

He says in a statement, “My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.

"She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car."
