Pete Doherty is in talks with several American magazines in a bid to ‘launch’ himself over the Atlantic.
The Babyshambles singer has reportedly secured at least one magazine cover, and is convinced he can become a success in the States, despite his troubles with drugs - which tend to be frowned upon by the American authorities and could result in him being refused entry.
A friend tells The Sun, “Pete is sure he can crack the US. He has been saying that as they let The Beatles in, he should be fine.”
