The Foo Fighters are looking for an undiscovered instrumentalist to perform with them at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony next month.
The contest, which is part of the My Grammy Moment initiative, is open to string, woodwind and brass players.
Entrants must submit a 60 second video of them playing the band’s recent single ‘The Pretender’ by midnight on January 20th.
A panel of judges will then narrow down the entrants to forty-five quarterfinalists before the public gets to vote on who makes it to the semi-final.
The eventual winner will join the band’s orchestral performance of ‘The Pretender’ at the ceremony on February 10th.
'The Pretender' is nominated for Best Song at this year's awards. The band are also nominated for Best Rock Album.
Last years My Grammy Moment winner won the opportunity to perform with Justin Timberlake.
