    Pete Townshend, Ringo Starr And Eric Clapton Form Supergroup

    Pete Townshend and Eric Clapton joined former Beatle Ringo Starr for a secret gig on New Years Eve, its been revealed.

    The trio of legends, playing under the name ‘Totally Abandoned’, played to a small VIP audience at a charity concert held in Surrey.

    According to the Independent, tickets for the performance were available for £50 with all proceeds going to charity.

    A fan at the show said that the three men treated the audience to “mainly old classics”.

    • I was at the gig. It is rubbish to make out that it was given to a VIP audience. It was a very mixed ordinary family audience. There were plenty of children there. Joe Walsh also joined in for a few numbers including Rocky Robin and Rocky Mountain Way

    • Agree with Michael, mostly ordinary people, the only deference was that the left rank of tables this time was reserved for some celebrities and musicians.
