Pete Townshend, Ringo Starr And Eric Clapton Form Supergroup

Pete Townshend and Eric Clapton joined former Beatle Ringo Starr for a secret gig on New Years Eve, its been revealed.

The trio of legends, playing under the name ‘Totally Abandoned’, played to a small VIP audience at a charity concert held in Surrey.

According to the Independent, tickets for the performance were available for £50 with all proceeds going to charity.

A fan at the show said that the three men treated the audience to “mainly old classics”.

I was at the gig. It is rubbish to make out that it was given to a VIP audience. It was a very mixed ordinary family audience. There were plenty of children there. Joe Walsh also joined in for a few numbers including Rocky Robin and Rocky Mountain Way

Agree with Michael, mostly ordinary people, the only deference was that the left rank of tables this time was reserved for some celebrities and musicians.

Yes i know what the charity was. Plus Gary Brooker was on key board and played ”Whiter shade of pale” made my night.
