Liam Gallagher, Ian Brown and three other members of Manchester rock royalty under the band name of Freebass have confirmed details of their first ever live gig next month.
As Gigwise revealed exclusively last October, Freebass who play the Manchester vs. Cancer event at the MEN Arena on February 23 with Brown and Gallagher upfront, features the legendary Peter Hook, Primal Scream’s Mani and The Smiths’ Andy Rourke.
The trio have been busy recording the debut album and have drafted in the likes of The Charlatans’ Tim Burgess and Bobby Gillespie as guest vocalists.
Andy Rourke said of the MEN show: “This year’s gig is going to be talked about for years to come. We’ve got some of the biggest bands of the moment lined up as well as some legendary acts.”
