Despite denials from organisers rumours are still abound that Led Zeppelin will headline 2008’s Bonnaroo Festival.
Stories about the headline slot first emerged in December before the band’s reunion show at the O2 Arena in London.
The rumours were quickly quashed by Bonnaroo but it seems they won’t go away if stories arising in the British tabloid press are to be believed.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "They are going to play the Bonnaroo festival, which runs from June 12 to 15. This news will drive their fans absolutely wild.
"They have been bombarding their website to get back together for good but only lead singer Robert Plant wasn't keen to commit.
"Now he's had a change of heart and if it all goes well they are also talking about touring."
