Smashing Pumpkins have been true to their word about new material and are set to release a new download only EP.
The four track release will be available via iTunes in the US on January 2 and will be entitled ‘American Gothic’.
The track listing will include the previously performed live ‘The Rose March’ plus ‘Sunkissed’, ‘Pox’ and ‘Again, Again, Again (The Crux)’.
Speaking to Billboard about the EP Billy Corgan said: "I had written a bunch of material during the residencies in Asheville and San Francisco [earlier this year], and fans kept asking us if we were gonna put any of that stuff out.
"iTunes came to us wanting to do something together, so it just felt right."
The EP was self produced by Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain.
