The undisputed Queen of R & B, Mary J Blige, is returning with a new single and album early next year.
‘Growing Pains’, the follow-up to the star’s 2005 album ‘The Breakthrough’, will be released through Polydor Records on February 4. It will be preceded by the single ‘Just Fine’ a week earlier.
Further details of the album are expected to follow soon, but the single ‘Just Fine’ has been produced by Notorious BIG collaborator Jazze Pha and Tricky Stewart who produced Rhianna’s global smash ‘Umbrella.’
Mary J Blige has now shifted over 40 million albums around the globe, with her latest effort ‘The Breakthrough’ shifting seven million copies alone.
