Dave Grohl has revealed that he can no longer listen to Nirvana’s back catalogue because of the pain he still feels over Kurt Cobain’s death.
He says that when a Nirvana track is played on the radio he is instantly transported back to the time when the band were in the studio together.
He said: "I immediately remember what it was like the day we recorded – the food or the ****ing snowstorm. It's like opening a box of old pictures and I don't like to do that too often."
Grohl returns to the UK in 2008 to play Wembley Arena and the City Of Manchester Stadium with the Foo Fighters.
