Maximo Park Torn Between Homecoming Show And X-Factor Final

Maximo Park’s huge homecoming show in Newcastle on Saturday (December 15th) was almost delayed because of X-Factor, Gigwise can reveal.

As well as all their usual requests, the band’s rider for the Metro Radio Arena show demanded that they had a television so they could watch the live final of the reality TV show.

“They just took the TV and hid in the dressing room,” a source at the venue told Gigwise.

Despite the show being their biggest hometown gig to date, our source went on to explain that they still didn’t go to the aftershow party.

“They had over 400 people on the guestlist but didn’t go to their own aftershow. It makes me wonder if they were upset with the X-Factor result!”
