Babyshambles were forced to cancel their final gig at the Rhythm Factory last night after Pete Doherty was taken ill.
Doherty, who is believed to have been suffering from flu symptoms, reportedly passed out and vomited before leaving the venue.
The band were able to play eight songs of their set before the singer was forced to leave the stage because of his declining health.
Although the rest of the group tried in vein to carry on with the performance the show was eventually called off in the early hours of this morning (December 19th), reports NME.
Last night’s show was Doherty’s and Babyshambles last of a three night residency at the London venue.
On Sunday (December 16th) Doherty played a retrospective set which included Libertines and Babyshambles songs , while Monday’s (December 17th) performance saw Babyshambles play new song 'Pretty Sue’ live for the first time.
