Amy Winehouse is to be questioned by Police about her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s arrest last month, it has emerged.
A Scotland Yard source said yesterday that Winehouse will be questioned as a potential witness in the case, and not a suspect.
"We have no evidence against Amy being involved in any crime. If we had she would have been arrested straight away.
"But we do want to talk to her about matters, particularly financial ones, which may be important in this case,” the source told the Mirror.
“It seems that in her marriage she has been the breadwinner and has kept her husband in pocket money. We've looked at their financial affairs and there are questions we'd like to ask her."
Winehouse’s husband was charged last month along with five other men with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
They have all been remanded in custody until a scheduled court hearing next month.
Fielder-Civil’s arrest came shortly before he was due to go on trial along with another man charged with assaulting the landlord of a Hoxton bar.
It's claimed that he asked the victim to drop the case and flee the country.
